SECONDARY

Grace Christian School is a rigorous, Christ-centered, college prep program accredited through both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS).  Grace has earned an excellent reputation among Christian and secular colleges and universities for high quality students.  Our teachers are professionals who teach with kindness and compassion.  Each staff member seeks to live, teach and model the amazing grace of God through the fruits of the Spirit.  We teach, model and disciple in academics, arts and athletics, endeavoring to encourage and inspire our next generation’s leaders in a personal, abiding relationship with our Lord and Savior.  Our school’s vision is to educate leaders who have a passion for Jesus Christ through the integration of faith and learning.

Grace believes all truth is God’s truth; therefore all curriculum is filtered through God’s Word, and biblical principles are applied to life questions and issues.  We teach a biblical worldview in every context, both intentionally and spontaneously, to help students understand that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Grace Christian School is accountable to those we serve at all levels beginning with our Lord and Savior and His Scriptures and then to our School Board, our parents and students, the churches represented by our families, the State of Alaska, and our accrediting agencies.  We also feel that it is our responsibility to train our students to be accountable in their studies and in life with our goal being to produce citizens who will be a transforming influence in their world.
