Greetings Grace Families,
I hope you were able to enjoy some of the wonderful weather this weekend. It is now feeling like spring, and we are in need of coming out of our shells! When I was in high school I remember the feeling of spring fever, or as our soon to be graduates call it “Senioritis!” It is very difficult to stay focused in these wonderful weather days of April and May! But we need to hang in there! For our seniors there are only two weeks of school left. The rest of us have three and a half weeks until summer break! We can do this! Let’s finish strong!
I do not have any update to give you at this time. It will be interesting to see how the re-opening process goes in Anchorage and across our state. We will adjust as we can, but the Governor’s mandate closing schools for the rest of the school year still stands. Please use this time as best you can for your family and for your students. We will be sending out a plan for returning school items and picking up personal items in the very near future. Thank you so much for your hard work, encouragement, and support. You are an amazing community to be a part of! I am so thankful for Grace!
