Steve is a retired US Air Force Colonel and career fighter pilot. He and his wife Cynthia chose to retire from the military so they could finish raising their 5 children in Alaska and have them attend Grace Christian School. After retiring from the military, Steve did contracting and consulting work and also served the state of Alaska as a Deputy Commissioner within the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. Now, Steve is the Executive Pastor for Anchorage Grace Church. He joined the pastoral staff in January of 2018. Steve is working towards his fourth master’s degree and is an avid learner. In his free time, he enjoys family time, especially hiking and fishing, and now learning to hunt. He adores his golden retriever Oliver as well!
