Elementary Terra Nova Testing THIS Week
Elementary students in grades 3-6 will be testing April 3-6. Please be sure students are well rested and have a good breakfast!
Coffee with the Counselor – Thursday, April 6
8:30am, South Commons with Mrs. Pargeter. Parents are invited to come learn more about what students can be doing over the summer to build their college resume.
3rd Grade Wax Museum is Friday, April 7
Come take a stroll through history with our 3rd graders! Museum doors (in the Chapel) open to 3rd grade parents and family at 8:30am. The GCS community is welcome from 9:00-11:30am.
DRIVING ALERT
If you use side streets like Merganzer to access the school each day, please be sure you are driving the posted speed limit and contributing to a safe neighborhood environment.
THIS WEEK’S AUCTION UPDATES
Join us this Friday for our weekly Auction meeting in room 219 from 1:30-2:45.
Guns, vacations, dining experiences, xtra tuffs, various services, fishing trips, eye care, ski passes, and oh-so-much-more can be yours!
Remember ALL PROFITS GO DIRECTLY TO GCS. This auction helps us bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of running our school. We are still accepting donations through April 17th. THANK YOU to all our donors and volunteers for everything! And thank YOU for purchasing your tickets!

8th Grade Moving Up Night – Monday, April 17, 2017,
7:00pm-8:30pm in the Chapel with Mrs. Pargeter. ALL 8th graders should attend with their parents. This will be an informative evening on being prepared for the next four years of high school.
6th Grade Shadow Day – Thursday, April 20
Students and parents of current 6th graders will meet in the Chapel from 8:00am-9:00am. Then students will attend junior high classes through 6th period.

Preschool Story Time on Tuesdays
Have a preschooler, or know someone in your neighborhood or church who does? Tell them about our Preschool Story Time that takes place each Tuesday in the GCS Library from 10:00-11:00 am. There will be half an hour of stories and learning followed by half an hour of playtime in the North Gym. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.

Moms in Prayer is Every Monday & Friday
If there is no school, there is no group. Come join Moms in Prayer Mondays from 1:45-2:45 pm, and/or Fridays 8:15-9:15 am. Both groups meet in the library.
