COMMITMENT MONTH (COMMIT BY FEB. 28TH)
We ask every family at Grace to let us know their intentions for next year by completing our Annual Commitment form online. When you fill out your form, you will also choose to have your $350 Annual Commitment Fee billed to your FACTS account in one lump sum or spread out equally over your remaining FACTS payment schedule. Commit by February 28th!! On March 1st the fee goes up to $400 and students in full classes will go into the wait pool.
Secondary students: Don’t forget about Course Selections. Once you fill out your form you will get an email with a link to pick your classes for next year!

Band Gumbo & Grooves Dinner/Fundraiser on Thursday, March 1
Gumbo provided by The Gumbo House and Music by the GCS Music Department in the Grace Christian School North Gym. The menu includes gumbo, rice, cornbread, salad, beverages and dessert by Anchorage’s own Queen of the Cheesecake, Karen Limstrom. The event is from 6:30-8:30 pm and is $25/person or $100/family. Tickets can be purchased through GCS band students.
Now Collecting Mason Jars & Glass Bottles
The Advancement team is working on a project and are collecting mason jars and glass bottles of all sizes. Please be sure that ALL LABELS are removed and scrubbed clean. You can turn them in at either office. We are collecting them now through February 21.

Valentine Grams For Sale
NHS is selling Valentine-grams and singing-grams before and after school in the North and South Commons. TODAY after school is your final opportunity to purchase one. $5 for a rose or chocolate, and singing-grams are $10. This year singing grams can be purchased for students in any grade!
Jump Rope for Heart
Elementary will have a kick on event for this on February 14th. Please look for information packets to be coming home with the details.
XC Ski Pep Assembly is on Thursday, February 15
We will be celebrating our XC Ski team as we send them off to Regions in Kenai on the 16th and 17th. The pep assembly will take place at on the 15th at 11:35 am. Secondary classes will be on the pep assembly schedule: https://www.

Kindergarten Experience on February 21
Incoming 2018-2019 kindergartners and their parents are invited to come experience a morning of kindergarten from 8:00-10:30 am. Enjoy chapel, morning lessons and some Q&A time with the teachers and principal. Spread the word and invite someone you know who has a kindergartner next year! Please pre-register online:
Elementary Bring A Friend Day is February 23
GCS students in GRADES K-5 only are encouraged to invite a friend to come to school with them for our “Bring a Friend Day” here at Grace on Friday, February 23rd. Public school students do not have classes on this day. Friends should be from Christian families (in alignment with the core values of GCS) that you might know from church, AWANA, or your neighborhood. They MUST be pre-registered by filling out the online form, no later than Feb. 21st: http://www.
