Thinking about the influence a school will have on your child?
SCHOOL CULTURE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
We provide a college preparatory education with a biblical foundation, in an environment where truth, integrity, and excellence impact the daily lives and choices of our students.
INTEGRITY DRIVEN CULTURE
Students learn to exhibit an ethical and moral application of a biblical worldview, and apply that to the world in which they live: school, families, churches, and their community.
Through the integration of faith and learning our students recognize Jesus Christ as the model for spiritual, emotional, social, and academic development.
COLLEGE READY SCHOLARS
Students will be challenged and embrace biblical excellence while committing to develop their God-given intellectual potential in all areas of study, so they are prepared for what comes next.

THE VALUE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
“Years down the road when your children are grown, you will not think about their grades, their awards, or the money that you spent on tuition. You will think about how well you did passing the baton of faith in Christ to them. An education which supports that faith is a key element in the process.”
Steve Machida, GCS Alumni parent
“My favorite subject is science because I’ve been learning about ecosystems and the way God created nature for us to enjoy.”
— Madison, Class of 2024 —
“Before I had kids, I would have seriously questioned the benefits of K-12 for a school to send my children. But as a mother of a graduate and a junior, I can honestly say, I am so thankful we chose GCS!
— Laura, GCS Parent —
“I hope my students are inspired to always try their best and to be respectful of those around them
(Colossians 3:23-24; Matthew 7:12).”
-- Mrs. Rinner, 4th Grade --
" I had Mr. Romans & Mr. Weber in 7th & 8th grade, first and second hour ... I’d start off every day with a Bible class and a great mentor. Then I would go to Mr. Romans’ class and I would instantly be put into a class full of life. He taught me so many life skills and lessons."
-- Liam, Class of 2019 --

Our Lunch Coordinator is Jennifer McGovern, and she is a Registered Dietician. Jennifer works hard to provide a healthy variety of options throughout the month and all year long. In addition to the standard lunch, she has incorporated things like salad in a cup, fresh fruits, and some special treats that are “home baked”. A definite favorite of the whole school is when she does her “Alaska Grown” lunch once a year in the fall. She herself goes to u-pick farms and asks families to bring in items from their garden. From these fresh Alaska Grown ingredients, Jennifer and her cafeteria crew create some scrumptious goodies like beet soup, fresh salads, fruit roll-ups, and chocolate zucchini bread.
