Each year, Grace Christian School hosts an annual fundraising auction to help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual costs to run the school. We have a live auction with a catered meal and a silent auction.
Parent volunteers are crucial to the event’s success. Various committees are responsible for different aspects of the auction. Parents help by assisting with their child’s class to build their donation package, making calls within the community on the procurement team, entering donations into the auction software, helping to decorate for the evening, or getting the items set up for viewing.
Our auctioneer, Dan Newman of Alaska Premier Auctions and Appraisals, works alongside our auction chair, Kayla Sherwood, to help guide each committee so that the evening becomes a beautiful night to remember, not for just our Grace family, but the Anchorage community as a whole!
