David is a born and raised Alaskan and a local business owner. David Stanfield was born into a Christian, Alaskan family in 1977. He attended Grace Christian School and is a 1995 graduate. He attended LeTourneau University in Texas between 1995 and 2000. While he was there, he met his wife, Heather Stanfield, to whom he has been married for 23 years. He played college basketball for a time and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Business Administration. After graduation, David and Heather moved to the California Bay Area where David began his career in the construction industry. David and Heather felt called to move back home to Alaska prior to starting a family and did so in 2005. David continued his career in the construction industry with General Mechanical, Inc. in 2005 and has been there since. David and Heather have 3 children, all who attend GCS. His oldest daughter will be graduating in 2025 and his youngest son will be part of Class of 2035. When not working, David spends time with his family or riding and racing bikes across the country.
