Lisa is Texan and is married to Mark, who is from Holland. They and their three kids have lived all over the world, moving often for Mark’s job. They have been a Grace family since they moved to Anchorage in January of 2020 and intend to stay put until all three kiddos graduate from Grace.
Before children, Lisa was in the oil and gas industry as a Finance/Accounting Manager. After taking time off to raise the kids, Lisa discovered a passion for working with children in church. She has volunteered or worked in children’s ministry for about 10 years. Lisa also loves playing basketball and started coaching nearly eight years ago. She currently coaches a comp team of 10 Grace girls almost year-round and has also coached Grace Girls Junior High basketball.
Lisa really enjoys helping out at school. She volunteers as the parent liaison, organizing and helping volunteer room parents and ambassadors. She also helps with the Grace Auction and frequently subs for teachers at Grace. Lisa also really enjoys movies. She is thankful she can serve the Grace community and loves getting to help and know all the Grace kids, parents, teachers, and staff.
